1950! – The Ultimate Mystery Challenge
A mystery is only as powerful as the mind willing to descend into the darkness in search of the truth.
When DD was arrested, the police uncovered thirteen confidential files. Each file contained years of private conversations between DD and one of the thirteen victims. During the investigation and trial, those very messages became the foundation of the prosecution's case. Rearranged, interpreted, and presented in a particular sequence, they formed an overwhelming narrative that led to DD's conviction and death sentence.
Then the impossible happened.
DD revealed a terrifying truth: the very same messages, when arranged in their true chronological order, told an entirely different story—one that proved his innocence.
Yet that revelation was only the beginning.
Hidden within those files are 1,950 individual messages exchanged between DD and each victim.
The number of possible arrangements is 1950! (1950 factorial)—an unimaginably large number of permutations, making it virtually impossible to discover the correct sequence by chance alone.
Somewhere within those arrangements lies the truth.
Your challenge is to find it.
If you succeed, you will uncover clues that connect directly to DD-2, DD-3, DD-4, and every mystery that follows.
Each file remains available only until one week before the launch of its corresponding book. Once that deadline passes, the file is permanently sealed, and the next mystery begins.
Who Can Participate?
Anyone.
You do not need to purchase any book to participate.
All you need is a valid email address to create your account when our official app launches.
The challenge will be available exclusively through the DD13 official app.
Daily Challenge Window
The challenge can be played every day between:
01:10 AM IST – 10:50 PM IST
Every participant receives one attempt per day.
Once an attempt has been submitted, the next attempt becomes available on the following day.
Token System
Every submission immediately updates your score.

Correct Answer: +1 Token

Incorrect Answer: −0.2 Token
Your Token balance is updated instantly after every submission.
Live Leaderboard
A live public leaderboard updates immediately after every submission.
Participants are ranked according to the following order:

Highest number of Tokens.

If tied, the participant with fewer attempts ranks higher.

If still tied, the participant who completed the challenge in the least amount of time ranks higher.

If a tie still remains, priority is given to the participant who submitted their final attempt earlier.
Every challenge attempt is timed from the moment you begin until the moment you submit your answers.
Why Do Tokens Matter?
The DD13 Universe consists of thirteen interconnected books, each revealing another piece of a much larger plan.
At launch, only DD-1 and DD Volume 1 will be available as physical books.
These editions will remain on sale only until the release of DD-2 and DD Volume 2.
Once the second books are released, the first editions will become available as free digital downloads, allowing every reader to continue the story regardless of when they joined the universe.
You Decide How Many Books Exist
For the first time, the maximum number of physical books printed will not be determined by the publisher or the author.
It will be determined by the readers.
When the DD-1 challenge officially ends, the final leaderboard becomes permanent.
The total positive Tokens earned collectively by all participants determine the maximum number of physical copies that can ever be printed for DD-2 and DD Volume 2.
For example:
If participants collectively earn 100,000 positive Tokens, then a maximum of 100,000 physical copies of DD-2 and DD Volume 2 can ever be printed.
Not one copy beyond that limit will ever exist.
Using Your Tokens
Your Tokens never expire.
They are permanently linked to your account and cannot be transferred to another participant.
You may:

Keep your Tokens for future book challenges.

Convert your Tokens into book units for the corresponding release.

Add a commission of up to 15% when selling those book units.
Once converted, your book units represent the maximum number of physical copies you are permitted to distribute or sell for that release.
If any converted book units remain unsold after that book's sales period ends, those units expire permanently.
Once the sales period closes, that edition will be released as a free digital download, allowing every reader to continue the journey.
Every Book Unlocks Another Mystery
Each of the thirteen files contains a different mystery.
Each challenge remains available only until the release of its corresponding book.
Every solved mystery reveals another layer of the truth.
Every answer creates new questions.
And somewhere within the 1950! possible arrangements lies the exact sequence that changes everything.
